Our Agency

Our Story

It all began with a wild adventure: the slightly crazy challenge Elliot set for himself in 2013—cycling from the Basque hills to Lisbon. This summer trip led him to discover and fall in love with Lisbon, a city he never left.

Sylvain joined the adventure in 2017, and together they became the two pillars of an exciting project: sharing their love for this city with travelers and entrepreneurs. Alongside their guide friends, they form a warm and professional team, driven by an inexhaustible passion.

Since then, they have broadened their horizons with Secret Portugal, to share the best of this magnificent country with you. Join us and be part of our story!

Our Agency

Our agency, located in the heart of the iconic Graça district, enjoys a unique location that reflects our passion for Lisbon and Portugal. Our offices, housed in the elegant Vila Souza building, offer breathtaking views of the city, immersing our team and visitors in the vibrant atmosphere of the Portuguese capital.

We created this space not only as a workplace, but also as a source of inspiration for everyone who joins us. Surrounded by the rich cultural and historical heritage of Graça, we are fully immersed in the spirit of Lisbon, which strengthens our commitment to sharing with you the very best of this city and Portugal.

Porto, a city of a thousand contrasts

Porto is a fascinating city where history, modernity, and tradition intertwine harmoniously, offering captivating contrasts at every turn. From the narrow, winding streets of the Ribeira district to the buildings adorned with azulejos tiles and the iconic bridges spanning the Douro River, Porto is a city to be discovered with wonder. With its renowned wine cellars, vibrant markets, and authentic cuisine, Porto seduces with its unique charm and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you are passionate about architecture, a culture enthusiast, or simply curious to sample delicious gastronomy, Porto promises unforgettable moments.

Our passion for Porto

Porto is a vibrant city of contrasts, where each neighborhood reveals a unique facet of its history and culture. From the verdant hills of Vila Nova de Gaia to the lively banks of the Douro River, from the cobblestone streets of the historic center to contemporary spaces like the Casa da Música, Porto elegantly blends past and present. With beaches just a few kilometers away, sun-drenched squares, and iconic monuments, Porto captivates with its authenticity and rich heritage. Whether you’re a nature lover, a history buff, or a gourmet, Porto offers exceptional discoveries around every corner.

Our Destinations

Portugal, a land of contrasts and riches, is much more than just a holiday destination. From the golden beaches of the Algarve to the verdant mountains of the north, passing through the Douro wine valleys and the vast plains of the Alentejo, the country unfolds a spectacular diversity of landscapes within its relatively compact territory. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, it combines rugged cliffs, wild coves, whitewashed villages, and historic cities with remarkable heritage. A land of navigators and explorers, Portugal bears the imprint of a powerful maritime history that has shaped its architecture, culture, and openness to the world. Here, every city, every village, and every region possesses a strong identity, its own rhythm, preserved traditions, and a cuisine deeply rooted in the land and the ocean.

Let yourself be guided between Lisbon and Porto, vibrant metropolises with authentic charm, the sun-drenched landscapes of the Algarve, the rural gentleness of the Alentejo, the lush island of Madeira, and the volcanic archipelago of the Azores, for a rich, immersive, and profoundly human experience. Each stop reveals a different facet of the country, offering a journey where nature, culture, and the art of living harmoniously intertwine to create unique and lasting memories.

OUR TESTIMONIALS

I had the opportunity to take two trips to Lisbon in 2025.
With André, we spent a whole day exploring Lisbon with our family in August, in temperatures exceeding 40°C. We planned our visit to minimize hills (quite an achievement in Lisbon!) and to take advantage of open, shaded areas. We had a wonderful trip.

We had a fantastic time exploring the city's hidden gems with Elliot.

This is the Lisbon you don't find in the guidebooks. It's the Lisbon we love: hidden and captivating.
We left with wonderful memories and plenty of tips for the rest of our trip.

A huge thank you and congratulations to Sylvain, who provided excellent advice, was responsive, and flexible. He worked wonders reorganizing our trip when our flight was canceled and we arrived by minibus after a 12-hour drive from Bordeaux! Hats off to him, thank you a thousand times! I highly recommend him!
